Bolt for the Heart is a non-profit organization whose goal for the Indiana State Police is to put an AED in every patrol vehicle. An AED is portable Automated External Defigraillator which can be used to restart a person's heart who suffered cardiac arrest.
Bolt For the Heart has donated over 200 AED's for the Indiana State Police. Last year the ISPA was able to donate ten AED's also!
This year you can help by particpating in a virtual race now through December, or you can participate in a real race in Carmel, Indiana on Thanksgiving Day. Visit the Bolt for the Heart website for more information.
