We honor the Indiana State Police troopers who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to the citizens of Indiana. Their memory lives on in the work we do every day.
Support Indiana's fallen troopers
The Indiana Fallen Heroes Foundation provides funeral support and survivor benefits for the families of officers killed in the line of duty. You can also honor a fallen trooper with an official memorial medallion — $51.
A tribute for our fallen
ISPA Memorial Stones
In 2008, the ISPA purchased memorial stones for every Indiana State Police post throughout the state. Each stone bears the names of all officers who have died in the line of duty — a permanent tribute at every post whose purpose is to preserve their memory. Each May, a memorial service is held at every Indiana State Police post to honor those who paid the ultimate sacrifice.
"As we that are left behind grow old, they shall not grow old. Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we shall remember them."
